We are seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to add to our Surgery Care Team. Our LVTs work well together and utilize their skills and knowledge every day. LVTs are required to assist in surgery; monitor complicated anesthetic cases, as well as administer anesthesia; and provide client education. LVTs are trained to used our state-of-the-art equipment including cold therapy laser, digital radiography, and MRI. Qualified LVTs need to have one year of experience and a current Virginia LVT license. Must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to manipulate up to 50 pounds. You must be compassionate and be competent in animal restraint.
